- Due to an excessive downpour at Rockingham Speedway, the 2001 NASCAR Winston Cup Dura-Lube 400 race that was scheduled today underwent rain delay after the first 52 laps. Originally slated to air until 4:30pm, the broadcast instead ended about an hour early, prompting FOX affiliates to air local programming in its place. The race would pick up where it left off tomorrow at 11:00am EST on FX.
