Welcome to FoxWorld Archives! Thank you for your interest in contributing to this project and helping to build a bigger and better guide to everything Fox! Finally! Here are a list of questions you may have (and their answers). If you still have questions before you start contributing, please contact a staff member on their talk page!
Please note that we are NOT affiliated with any of the spinoff archive wikis that are made with other networks. Hopefully this will avoid any confusion in advance.
General[]
Q: What is "krudvid Documentation"? I keep seeing it on schedule pages.
A: krudvid is a kidvid documentation site run by MarioSonicU and KayWeebe, focusing on many broadcast blocks, including ones for Fox Kids, FoxBox, and 4KidsTV. Any page with this in the sources means it was sourced from their documentation.
Q: Who is Aaron G., and why do I keep seeing his 'Fox Website' be sourced?
A: Aaron Greenhouse's Fox website is an unofficial website keeping track of what Fox aired and when they aired it. While some information is missing (namely earlier shows like Duet or Glory Days), and the website stopped updating at the beginning of the 2001 season, Aaron's data is considered a legitimate source due to being first-hand.
Q: What is a screenbug? I don't see any bug!
A: The screenbug is the little logo in the lower right corner of the screen. Screenbugs are actually one of the main ways we're able to figure out the dates some of our old tapes were recorded, so they're extremely important!
Q: Will you ever cover Fox's sister networks, the international channels, or any of the former Fox nets owned by Disney?
A: Unfortunately, no. Archiving nearly 40+ years of broadcast history is already an extremely huge undertaking as it is. However, there are other channel archives you can find on the Community tab.
Q: Why are some days not hyperlinked in the early month pages?
A: Fox did not operate seven days a week from October 1986 to July 1987, and from October 1988 to September 1990. As there would be nothing to showcase, we instead do not have pages for those days. When creating pages for pre-1990 schedules, please consult the relevant month page and see what the prior/next day of broadcast was.

Q: How can I contribute to this wiki?
A: Good question! Here's a basic guide on how you can get started.
Q: I have old recorded VHS tapes/DVDs/etc. of Fox! What can I do?
A: Wonderful! If you have old recordings of Fox, please reach out to us! We're always interested in helping people date their old recordings and adding new information to the wiki.
Q: My VHS recordings have no commercials and/or no screenbug. Are they still of any use?
A: Yes! One of our specialties is figuring out when recordings were made, whether there are commercials or not!
Q: I want to contribute my old recordings, but I have no way to digitize them. What can I do?
A: No problem! Please reach out to our staff for assistance! We're always happy to help with preserving old broadcast footage.
Q: Can I log syndicated airings that aired on my local Fox station?
A: No. FoxWorld is only set on archiving the main network. We will never cover any syndication your local station aired. If you're confused on what qualifies as a Fox recording, please reach out to one of the staff and we'll help you.
