While the episode was originally planned to air during the second season before being pulled due to concerns over it's subject matter (with it potentially being interpreted as anit-Semitic), tonight marks the network premiere of When You Wish Upon a Weinstein. Prior to tonight's airing, It was a released on the Volume 2 DVD set on September 9, 2003 and premiered a year earlier on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block on November 9th, 2003.
